Philip Seelig

Phillip Howard Seelig Philip Seelig is a twenty-one year veteran of civil service. He served nearly fourteen of those years as the President of the 10,000 member Correction Officers Benevolent Association (COBA). He co-chaired the 40,000 member NYC Uniformed Forces Coalition, and served as Vice- Chairman of the 200,000 member NYC Municipal Labor Committee. Mr. Seelig has provided expert testimony before the NYS Senate and the NYC Council, and been a guest on TV and radio shows including the Larry King Show, and Live At Five, and had appeared on all major networks. He has been featured in numerous local and national periodicals including the NY Times, NY Post, NY Daily News, and Newsday. Mr. Seelig, a vigorous and experienced advocate, has frequent appearances before city, state, and federal judges, and has represented clients in well over 3000 matters.

Robert Ungaro

Robert Ungaro Robert Ungaro entered private practice following a distinguished career which began at the New York County District Attorney’s Office, followed by the NYC Department of Correction, culminating his public service at the NYC Department of Investigation. He was appointed, under Mayor Giuliani, to head the office of the NYC Fire Department Inspector General. He retired from public service in 1996 to focus his efforts on complex disability litigation and civil service issues in the state, appellate, and federal courts. Mr. Ungaro, a seasoned advocate, has successfully represented clients in well over 3000 matters. His memberships include the New York County Lawyers Assoc., New York Social Security Bar Assoc., National Organization of Social Security Claims Representatives, and the Fraternal Order of Police.

Nicholas Cifuni

Nicholas Cifuni Nicholas Cifuni entered private practice after a distinguished twenty-year career with the NYC Police Department. During his tenure, he rose to the rank of lieutenant, serving with the Detective Bureau, Organized Crime Control Bureau, Legal Bureau, and the Narcotics Division. Mr. Cifuni’s achievements also include his appointment to the Executive Board of the Lieutenants Benevolent Association (LBA), where his responsibilities included successfully representing members in various civil service matters. He retired as the Chief of Staff of the NYC Police Pension Fund. Mr. Cifuni devotes his considerable qualifications toward assisting active and retired government employees with disability and other civil service issues.

Michael Sheena

Michael Sheena Michael Sheena joined this firm in 2005. He devotes his efforts to assisting clients with the preparation of disability claims. He is a graduate of New York Law School where he was his class BAR representative. He clerked for Judge Goodman at the NYS Supreme Court, worked as an investigator at the New York State Human Right Division, and as an analyst at a large research firm in Manhattan.

Raymon Radow A former prosecutor with the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, Raymond began practicing law in the private sector thirteen years ago. He has achieved significant success representing clients in general civil litigation matters.
