Philip Seelig and Robert Ungaro formed their partnership in 1996, after culminating successful careers in civil service. Mr. Seelig, was elected president of the 11,000 member correction officer union after having served only six years as a correction officer. Robert Ungaro rose the investigative ranks beginning at the Manhattan District Attorney’s office, later heading the Inspector General’s office at the Fire Department as part of Commissioner Howard Safir’s executive staff.
Both partners recognized that there existed a need for effective legal services on behalf of the disabled workers of this community. One client at a time, they grew this firm to is current size and stature.
